Refunds

How to ask

• Do it yourself, right now: find your license with the email you bought with, and press Refund me in full. That starts the refund without a form, a reason or a support reply; the result page reports any payment that needs manual follow-up.
• Or email us / use the contact form and choose “Refund request” — the same refund, with a human in the loop. We aim to answer within two working days.

Either way the refund goes through Stripe to the original payment method. Stripe says it can take five to ten business days to appear.

Why we can be relaxed about this

The 14-day free trial lets you test TinyRocket with no card or signup before paying. The refund promise still applies if the paid app is not right for you. If you paid and it turned out not to work for your setup, that is our problem to fix, not yours to argue about.

What happens to your license

A license refunded in full is withdrawn. We mark it refunded, free its seats, stop any further Macs being added to it, and issue a signed withdrawal that the app records the next time that Mac checks in. The app tells you why; local link checking continues with installed threat data, while licensed network services and fresh threat-data updates stop.

Proportionality cuts the other way too, in your favor. A partial refund — say, a few dollars back as a goodwill gesture — does not touch your license at all. Refunding extra Macs you added later takes back exactly those seats and leaves the license you originally bought working. If a refund fails after we have acted on it, the related entitlement is restored automatically where possible. Mixed or partial failures are flagged for a person to reconcile.

Two things worth being straight about. Your Mac is not reached into or switched off remotely; it records the withdrawal when it next hears from us, so nothing happens the instant you get your money back. And because TinyRocket deliberately keeps working when our server is unreachable — that is what protects everyone else from our outages — a machine that does not connect again does not receive the withdrawal. We would rather that hole existed than have your app stop working because our hosting had a bad afternoon.

Your legal rights

Depending on where you live, consumer law may give you additional cancellation or digital-content remedies. Our 30-day policy is offered in addition to those rights and does not replace or limit them. Nothing on this page affects any statutory right you have.

Chargebacks

Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank. A direct request lets us start the full refund immediately; a bank dispute follows the bank and card network’s process instead. Ask us first; we would rather refund you than argue with your bank.
